Who woke Caitlyn up?

Daddy was resting at home today cos he has a flu. At around 12 noon, Daddy went out of his bedroom to find Caitlyn awake and bleary-eyed.

Daddy: What happended to you Mei Mei? Why wake up so early?

Caitlyn: Daddy, the fire engine woke me up! [Apparently an ambulance sped down the PIE with its sirens blaring and woke her up.]

Daddy: Oh you poor thing...

Yes, Mei Mei has Daddy firmly wrapped around her little pinky ;)

Work and Money

Daddy and Mummy had always been telling Mei Mei and I that they had to work to earn money to bring us for holidays, hotel stays, toys etc etc. Then one fine day...

Isaiah: Daddy, can you buy me xxx (Daddy cannot remember what for the life of him)?

Daddy: I have no money, Isaiah.

Isaiah *pauses and thinks for a little while* : Daddy, you work but you have no money?

Daddy: *Urgh*

Caitlyn Wins! (all the time)

Mei Mei may be a little small thing but she's really good at "psychological" warfare. I, on the other hand, am bigger than her, but straight so yes, she always "wins".

An example: (and happens almost EVERY trip in e car)

Isaiah is watching the cars through the windows..

Caitlyn: Gor Gor cannot see the car!
Isaiah: *instantly whining with tears* I want to see cars! Why mei mei say I cannot see car??
Caitlyn: Gor Gor cannot see car! *smirks*

**Mummy recently got really irritated and taught me to say "I have eyes, I can see, Neh Neh NI Boo Boo" , but do I? NO, I still let Caitlyn get to me! Why? Well, why does she have to say I cannot see cars when I want to? Why?!

Caitlyn: Give you elephant (when she jolly well knows i want the cat)
Isaiah: I dun want elephant, I dun want elephant!
Caitlyn: U want cat or elephant?
Isaiah: Cat
Caitlyn: *with a great big smirk* Give u elephant
Isaiah: "fusses" I dun want I dun want!

Well, Mei Mei sometimes get kicked or hit by me cause she irritates me so much! And she would start bawling, which would get ME into trouble! Hmmm, is what Daddy and Mummy says correct, she has me wrapped around her little finger? Isn't she such a "devious" lil thing?

An SMS from Yee Yee to Mummy - dated 9 June 2010

Mummy received this from Yee Yee and she decided to blog it down since she has a free period.

"I need to get my masters and PHD and even then I will not be able to answer Isaiah's barrage of questions! Why do we dream, why do animals wear clothes, why can't starlight talk, etc.. When I tried to be smart and asked if animals in the zoo wore clothes to illustrate why starlight doesn't, he rebutted, does starlight live in a zoo? Isaiah - 1, Yee Yee - 0"

Yupz, that's basically what talking to me is like! Shall we continue to keep score, Yee Yee? ;P

Daddy's Uploading Spree

I Am 3 Today!

Finally a post that is not 'overdue'. I am THREE today... Onto the HORRIBLE 3s after the TERRIBLE 2s and I am sure I will not disappoint my parents with my antics.. *cue evil grin*

I had a GREAT day today. This morning, I was rudely awakened by Mummy kissing me and going on and on about some birthday surprise and how I should wake up NOW! I so felt like killing her. I mean which mother in her right mind would wake her child up right? Anyway I had no choice but to drag myself out of my slumber, not without making my unhappiness known, and was carried out by Mummy to the hall where a new KITCHEN SET greeted me! Happiness! I finally can cook for Sully and Mike.. Now on to trying ot get them to bring me to Hotel Intercon. Oh ya, in case you are wondering why Mummy woke me up.. cause she had to work and she wanted to be there to see me discover my present. *roll eyes*

After a fun morning with Daddy, Nai Nai and Mei Mei playing with the kitchen set and watching TV (how could we not watch TV when Caitlyn is around right?), Mummy came back from work and we were scooped off to Sentosa where we were going for the highlight of my birthday - the Luge! I have been telling Yee Yee and Gong Gong about this car without wheels and TODAY is the day!

Wow! Was the luge FUN or was it FUN? Daddy and Mummy bought the family package for 8 rides! That meant Mei Mei and I went on the luge together with Daddy and Mummy thrice each. What about the remaining 2 rides? They went to Nai Nai who gamely tried the luge too! Think she enjoyed the luge but hated the sky ride! Pretty much the same for me! I didn't like the sky ride but we HAD to sit on it in order to luge again, so that pretty much decided our "fate".

After the fun, fun , fun luge rides, my eyes could hardly open already (as I hadn't napped yet) but we were dragged to get some juice and ICE CREAM! WOW! Is it a special day or what? After that we went to take a bus back to our car. At least that's what I am told as I fell asleep on Daddy's shoulders even before boarding the bus. Mei Mei fell asleep soon on the car.

There's more... If you noticed, the cake cutting had not happened yet. Gong Gong and Por Por came over to our place too. Everyone sang me a 'happy birthday' song and we cut the cake! CHOCOLATE cake! Yummy!!

Well, I have to say I did enjoy my 3rd birthday thoroughly! If only it were birthdays everyday!
